Foo Fighters remain solid as Concrete & Gold Seattle mega-rockers Foo Fighters are back with their brand new album Concrete & Gold [Sept. 15, via RCA]. The eleven tracks were produced by pop producer Greg Kurstin, which is a different route for the band. The sound of the record still remains very Foo-sounding. On the single "The Line," frontman Dave Grohl tells a story about being a satellite searching for life, while the band lays down a vintage rock backbone. The rest of the album is a solid listen all the way through. Check them out on tour as they swing through the United States with big gigs at CalJam and Voodoo Music + Arts Experience. The summer may be over, but it's a good feeling to know the iPods are refreshed with new tunes to last into the fall.
